Highfield is a gracious Victorian house situated in the historic market town of Marlborough, Wiltshire. It was carefully extended and modernised in 1987, transforming it into a fully equipped residential care home for the elderly, retaining all of the charm and elegance of a bygone era.
Today, Highfield is a well established home, which has gained an excellent reputation within the local community, and across the country.
Highfield overlooks the Common, where panoramic views of the countryside can be enjoyed. The home also offers an exquisite garden and patio area to the rear, perfect for enjoying the sunshine, reading or having tea with friends and family.
We are committed to providing quality care and comfort for twenty-four residents, maintaining a warm, family orientated atmosphere, while offering the security of full assistance and support whenever it is needed. Our aim is to promote independence, encouraging our residents to live full and active lives. We strongly believe that stimulation and motivation play an important role in achieving this goal.
At Highfield, we have a fully trained care team, who are chosen for their warmth, kindness and understanding of caring for the elderly. Privacy and dignity is always considered and respected. It is our practice to involve our residents in developing their own care plan, ensuring that individual needs are met.
A varied choice of home cooked meals is provided daily, using only the freshest produce from local sources. These are prepared by a team of enthusiastic chefs, catering for all tastes and dietary requirements. The sweet trolley alone is always a tempting sight for any appetite, carrying a wide choice of delicious desserts!
